Editing Analysis

  1) Watch the first minute of the clip . How many times does it cut? (This is when the shot changes - the first cut in the scene is after 9 seconds).The amount of time the shot changes during the first minute of the clip is 9 times. 2) How does the pace (speed) of cuts change between 1 minute and 1.30?The speed of the shots changes slower between 1 minute and 1.30 to show the whole setting and to show us all Van Gogh paintings. 3) Why is the scene emotional for the audience to watch?The audience might get emotional by seeing Van Gogh getting emotional/crying while hearing other people talk about his amazing art work. Extension tasks 4) How is juxtaposition (two shots placed next to each other) used at 1.58 to create meaning for the audience? It is  to show Van Gogh's expression towards the man's words. 5) What do you think is the most important shot in this scene and why? I think the most important shot is close up because it's showing us Van Gogh reaction/expression.

Camera Work Analyses

  1) Camera shots Pick  three  camera  shots  from the scene and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience. CLOSE UP : The directer used close up to show the characters emotion. MEDIUM SHOT  : The directer use medium shot to show the background  or the sitting but to also show us the main character. MEDIUM CLOSE UP: The directer use medium close up to show us where the  scene is taking place { background/setting}. 2) Camera angle Pick  one  camera  angle  that is used in the scene and explain the effect it has on the audience.  LOW ANGEL: The directer used low angel to show that the women is powerful. 3) Camera movement Pick  one  aspect of  camera movement  in the clip. Identify the type of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience. PAN : The directer used pan to create a feeling of action and danger for the audience.

Strangers Things Analysis-Clamps Costume and Make up In the video,the chances are wearing casual clothes.For example,the men were wearing black suits while  the children were wearing casual ones.The boys were wearing t shirt and jeans and girl was wearing a dress. lightning and Colour In the video it's bright day light.The sky is bright blue.Which shows that it's a peaceful  neighbourhood  Action and Movements The boys were getting chased by vans.They were running away by  riding bicycles .Midway through  them getting chased  the van flipped around in the air and crashed on the floor. Props and Setting In the video it shows that the scene was placed in a peaceful neighbourhood.This is because you can't see any people walking on the streets.
