I somewhat agree with this view.

In Lara Croft Go It may seem fair as she was the first female protagonist.She is intelligent,butt kicking,gun wielding and a powerful women which subverts female stereotype in video games.She explores the ruins of ancient civilisation in the amazon jungles and fights the villains on her own.However the problem is with her design.Lara Croft is extremely sexualised and her body features are exaggerated to appeal to the target audience .Tomb Raider believed in the stereotype against women disliking actions games as a result he only expected male audience to play Lara Croft Go.The treatment between female protagonist compared to male protagonist is unequal as companies wouldn't design male characters the same way.

Lara Croft Go narrative is very unique as it is not something usually female characters are seen doing.Lara Croft Go is inspired by Indiana Jones.She put herself under risk in hope of discovering valuable items.She gets called on for various missions.On her missions she overcome dangerous obstacles and traps in order to uncover the myth of the Queen of venom.It is rare to see women featured in the action - adventure genre.However in most cases they are usually featured in games including  makeup,dress up games as a result of the game industry being controlled by the male gaze and lack of female creators.Women couldn't speak up on these problems as the PEGI rules did not exist yet.


Meanwhile in Hollywood: Kim Kardashian body has an overly exaggerated and unrealistic body as well but on the other hand Kim asked to be represented in such a away.The game doesn't mainly focus on her body but on Kim Kardashian wealth.She is seen wearing diamond rings and her name is seen everywhere to keep the attention on her.The game settings are places only the rich can afford to visit which also links to showing off Kim wealth.The narrative focuses on climbing up the rank list from a Z ranked celebrity to a A ranked celebrity to become like Kim Kardashian and live a luxuries life.We do this by dating celebrities to gain their fame.This links to Kim Kardashian relationship with Kenya as he was one of the reason she became famous.

My new upmarket lifestyle consumer magazine will be called 'CLIO'. Cover image features a  Nepali  model that just hit her fame and is known worldwide for her work. The magazine is collaborating with her and letting her design her own collection to launch soon. The main story is about a recent interview with the Nepali star to talk about her life as an A lister Nepali celebrity. She talks about shows she attends as a model such as Paris fashion show and a ball held by the Queen only for the upper class to attend.
