2) How much does a copy of the Daily Mirror cost? (Note: the current cost is different to the CSP edition - we recommend learning both).

In the CSP 2021 it costed 90p however in 2024 the price has doubled and now cost £1.80.

3) What are the main stories on the CSP edition of the Daily Mirror (see above)? Make sure you learn the headline and what the stories are about.



The main stories of Daily Mirror is spreading awareness on climate change around the world as well as celebrating ordinary people rewards on Stars Hail pride of Britain heroes.

4) Why is the choice of news stories and content on the Mirror CSP front page typical of a tabloid newspaper?

Daily Mirror content is a typical example of a Tabloid as it contains less writing and more images as well as well as post entertainment such as Britain award shoe and a football guide to become the same level of skills as your favourite footballer.

5) What is the balance on the Daily Mirror front page between images, headlines and text?

 The Daily Mirror front page contains more images than words as they focus more on entertainment and provide visuals for the audience.They only provide a short statements on their main stories rather than big paragraphs to not create boredom for their audience.

1) What political party does the Daily Mirror support? Is there any evidence to support this in the CSP pages we have studied?

The Daily Mirror supports the labour party so they based their content on showing the good sides of the labour party and the bad saide of the conservative party as they are against it.

2) How does the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards represent ordinary British people?

Daily Mirror Pride of Britian Awards represent ordinary people and celebrating them and their achievements and represent them as Heroes.It makes the ordinary people feel included as they are the one being awarded and not famous well known celebrities.The Daily Mirror implement this idea by including the Pride of Britian Awards in their Magazines front cover. 

3) How is climate change as an issue represented in the Daily Mirror? What evidence can you provide from the CSP pages to support this?

The Daily Mirror represent The climate change as a global issue that effects all of us and by Including it as the main cover story on their Newspapers they are seen as trying to bring awareness about the situation.The man in the cover of the story is seen as miserable and helpless in the face of climate change which connotes the danger of climate change and the effects it could have on us .

4) How are environmental protesters like Greta Thunberg represented in the Daily Mirror? Look at the inside pages to answer this.

5) How are different countries and political leaders represented in the Daily Mirror? Does this reinforce or subvert the stereotypes we usually see in the media?
