KISS Fresh&KISSSTORY offer biggest tracks of the hottest artist and producers in the industry.They play hip hop,dance and shows from top DJ's.Fans can access KISS fresh and KISSSTORY are available on kiss kube app and KISSFMUK.COM.

Through downloading KISS kube app to stream their favourite shows,yearly events,pool parties and yearly Halloween parties

6) Are listeners to the KISS Breakfast show active or passive? You can argue this point either way - explain your opinion in your answer.

Listeners are acrive this is because during the special events hosted by KISS fresh attract uo to 11,000 dressed up fans that showed up.The KISS kube app has over 1.3 million downloads.Their platforms all together reached a potential 321 million followers.

Personal relationship - Jordan and Perri are always dressed casually while having a nice improvised conversations which makes the fans feel connected to them and feel as if their relationship with their audience is natural.

Diversion - As fans watch their show they forget all the current problems they are currently facing and instead enjoy listening to Jordan and Perri have a nice chat early in the morning and feel engaged with them.

Both KISS FM and Tony Blackburn's are both related to the pirate stations.KISS FM in the pasted used to be a pirate station while Tony Blackburn's used to be a DJ in the pirate stations.Therefore they still maintain their brand identity till this day buy avoiding any formality and always being casual.

10) Use Stuart Hall's Reception theory to offer a preferred and oppositional reading of the KISS FM Breakfast show. For the preferred reading, why do fans love the show? On the oppositional side, why might someone criticise the show or not want to listen?


Preferred reading: Fans love the show as they see similarities between them and the host and they feel comfortable and welcomed by the casualty of the hosts.


oppositional reading: As we know 60% of their audience are female however the hosts are both male which can results in difficulty of understanding each other and they are unprofessional.

KISS FM first launched as a pirate station in October 1985

The different types on media you can find are radio,magazines and digital.

3) How does KISS FM make money and how much revenue did Bauer Media Group make in 2020?

KISS FM makes money through advertising,sponsorship and events such as festivles.In 2020 KISS FM made a total of 1.5 billion.

4) How many listeners does the KISS Breakfast show have and how has this changed in recent years?

As of now KISS FM has a total of 980,000 listeners. However that is the results of number of listeners in the past years.In previous years back when Jordan and Perri weren't on the show it,KISS FM had a total of 2 million listeners.

5) How is KISS FM regulated and what can happen if they break the rules?

KISS FM is regulated by OFcom and they have to follow OFcom broadcasting rules such as not podcasting anything inappropriate for young listeners. If these rules are broken or there is complaints about the podcast has to pay a fee and apologise for their actions.
